After 11 seasons it's over: Nils Glagau leaves "The Lion's Den"

The lion pack is shrinking: After eleven seasons, investor Nils Glagau is leaving DHDL. Read what's behind his departure here.
The startup show “Die Höhle der Löwen” (The Lion’s Den) has not only reached the finale of the current season – it is also at the end of an era: long-time investor Nils Glagau is leaving the TV format.
After a total of eleven seasons and several founding stories, he is retiring from the show, as he announced on LinkedIn .
My journey with the lion pride was a great experience
Since 2019, Glagau has been a regular part of the show, which he believes not only offers important support to founders, but also puts a stronger focus on the topic of entrepreneurship.
"My journey with the lion pride was a fantastic experience, and one where I learned a lot!" he proudly writes on LinkedIn. He now wants to use his newly gained time to devote more time to his company. New projects are also planned – though he doesn't reveal which ones exactly.
In the last two episodes, Glagau will be seen again among the “Lions” – and perhaps close one or two interesting deals.
He is not alone in his departure: Investor Tillman Schulz is also leaving the successful format at the end of the season.
